Anyone can write a business plan, but not many people can write an exciting one! An effective business plan is one that gets results, whether compiled for internal management use or to raise finance.
This workshop is ideal for businesses at all stages but particularly early-stage and growth businesses looking to raise finance. It explores what information is critical in a business plan, what should be left out and how it can best be presented depending on the type of finance that is required for the business i.e. bank debt, angel investment or grant funding.
There is then a chance for delegates to interact with the presenter and the audience by testing their own business’ value proposition to understand how it can be turned from being an idea into a potential business. In the second part of the workshop, each section of a business plan is discussed with particular reference to your business.
This course will teach you everything you need to know about how to prepare a ‘perfect’ business plan, looking at the difference between an internal business plan and preparing a document to raise finance.
We will be working on your business plan throughout the day so bring what you already have.
