Our mission is to provide ambitious Aston students from any discipline with the inspiration, vision and core skills that are fundamental to entrepreneurial success.
Aston Entrepreneurs is more than a society. It is a vast network connecting you with the people you need to know to assist with the growth of your enterprise.
We aim to have top entrepreneurial talent speaking to our members as well as running skills workshops and networking events. We are working with Graduate Advantage, NACUE, Business Link and numerous other organisations to bring you, our members, the best start for your start-up.
The idea and inspiration for Aston Entrepreneurs came in 2008 when George Kitchen, a 1st Year Management and Strategy student at Aston University, felt that such a prestigious Business School provided little support for student enterprise.
An Executive Committee for the new society, that was to aim to change this, was formed in May 2009 with 20 members including a president, George Kitchen, and two vice presidents, Scott Taylor and Richard Leksell, all 1st Year students.
